The lids are designed to fit snugly and have a slight downward curve, which helps deflect wind and prevents them from being easily flipped open. Many models also feature a secure latch or a weighted mechanism that adds just enough pressure to keep the lid closed during gusts, without making it difficult to open. The bins themselves have a low center of gravity and a sturdy base to prevent tipping. While no bin is 100% immune to a severe storm, our design significantly reduces scattered debris and keeps your outdoor space cleaner on windy days.
