For extremely heavy or non-wheeled bins, a two-person team using a heavy-duty dolly or hand truck is the best practice to prevent back injury. Secure the bin to the dolly with straps. At the dump point, carefully lower and empty the contents into the larger commercial dumpster or compactor. Avoid twisting your torso; use your legs to lift and pivot. After emptying, promptly return the bin to its designated spot. For routine maintenance, periodically clean and disinfect the interior to control odors and pests.
