Graffiti is also less likely to stick permanently to certain treated surfaces, making cleanup easier for maintenance crews.
Key design features directly combat vandalism. Many models have seamless, one-piece construction to prevent panels from being pried off. Heavy-duty, tamper-resistant fasteners secure lids and liners. Some are even weighted or anchored, making them difficult to tip over or throw.
That said, they're not indestructible. Extreme force, fire, or sharp tools can certainly damage them. However, their advantage lies in cost-effective repairability and replacement compared to metal or concrete alternatives.
