First, it starts with material. Our heavy-duty cans are made from galvanized steel, powder-coated steel, or commercial-grade polyethylene. These materials are chosen for their inherent strength and resistance to impacts, scratches, and attempts at graffiti (which is often easier to clean off these surfaces).
The design is equally crucial. We utilize tamper-resistant locks for the lids and service doors. These aren't standard padlock loops but internal locking mechanisms that require a specialized key, making them difficult to pry open or break. Many models also have reinforced, hinged lids that can withstand being slammed repeatedly.
Anchoring is a simple but highly effective deterrent. Our cans are pre-drilled for permanent anchoring to concrete pads or the ground. A securely anchored can is far less likely to be tipped over, dragged, or stolen—common forms of vandalism.
